How to create a dropzone source?

Updated 1 year ago by Lucie Hubert

The Dropzone is a small boxed area that you can add to any pages of your website, such as a job offer or a blog post, in order to allow applicants to directly drop their resumes.

This source dramatically simplifies the application process for candidates who can apply instantly without any effort.

It takes only a few minutes to set up the Dropzone source. To do so, please follow the next steps:

Step 1:

Click on "+" next to "Sources" to start creating a new source.

Step 2:

Select "Dropzone" as a Source type.

Step 3:

Customize your Dropzone with these different setups:

1) Enter a recognizable "Source name" for your source so that you can remember it and other users can recognize it. It can be for example "Dropzone offer XX" or "Dropzone article XX".

2) Choose the size and color you want to give it.

3) Make sure the success message candidates received when they apply is right.

4) Choose if you want to activate the explicit consent. Read more about it here: collect explicit content from candidates for GDPR.

Step 4:

If you want to hide this source from the other users, you can make the source private

In the "Source managers" field, you can choose other team members to manage the source with you. They will automatically follow the source as soon as it is created.

Step 5:

Click on "Create" on the bottom right of the page, the 2 parts of the script will appear on the right. You can copy it to send it to your website administrator to put it on the desired webpages.
